Big K.R.I.T. ha scritto una traccia per il prossimo NFL Madden.
Dopo aver festeggiato il decimo anniversario del suo celebre mixtape Wuz Here, Big K.R.I.T. è tornato con un nuovo inedito. KICKOFF è un brano scritto per essere incluso nella colonna sonora del nuovo titolo sportivo Madden NFL 21, esattamente come l’ultimo singolo di .Paak.
A differenza degli altri artisti che ne hanno preso parte, K.R.I.T. come di consueto, non ha perso tempo a sfruttare tutti i suoi talenti da produttore e MC. Il brano ricorda le atmosfere dei suoi due ultimi grandi progetti, il capolavoro 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time e l’ottimo K.R. I.T. iz Here.
K.R.I.T. in persona ha speso due parole sull’opportunità di prendere parte a questo progetto di EA Sports.
“It’s a dope opportunity to be featured on the Madden 21 soundtrack this year. When you get in the game on Aug 28, you will hear your boy coming through the speakers. So thank you EA Sports for tapping me for this with some dope artists like myself, Anderson .Paak, Rick Ross, Jack Harlow, Party Favor and more.”
La fanbase di K.R.I.T. continua a godere di materiale di qualità mentre ogni tanto arriva qualcuno nella scena che calca il nome del sottovalutatissimo MC. Waka Flocka ad inizio mese ha espresso il suo pensiero su K.R.I.T., elogiando diversi aspetti della sua arte.
“k.r.i.t. is literally the most underrated rapper of my generation. if i had to pick one artist to go against any other, there’s not on n**** in hip-hop today that i can think about that can out rap big k.r.i.t. with substance, title, understanding, a complete body of an album, k.r.i.t. is the illest.”
